This program is mainly intended for those who already have an intermediate or advanced level in Spanish and want to enlarge their knowledge of the Spain history.

These courses themes offer a global vision of Spanish culture while touching to the different regions of the peninsula as well as their traditions, gastronomy, festivities, folklore, cinema, politics and other aspects.

Through your lessons, you will take on diverse time periods of the Spanish history: from the Roman Empire to the Christian, Muslim and Jewish medieval. Emphasis will be put on the country unification under the catholic kings, the colonization, the reign of the Habsbourgs and of the Bourbons.

For this Spanish courses program, an intermediate to advance Spanish language level is required. The program is composed of 20 + 5 lessons per week:

• 10 Spanish language lessons,
• 10 Spanish history lessons
• 5 cultural lessons.

To these are added the activities and excursions organized by the teachers: tours of museums and cultural centers.
