Come visit Berlin, capital of reunified Germany and now a dynamic, international metropolis as well as an important European cultural and artistic center.
After the reunification of Germany, Berlin as transformed, seeing new centers arise, amongst them is Potsdamer Platz, symbol of the construction boom in the new capital, with its numerous shopping centers, theatres, casinos, movie theatres and its ultramodern architecture.
Even though almost four million people live in the German capital, the atmosphere remains surprisingly relaxed and living in Berlin is very pleasant. Ten percent of the pedestrian streets are sided by bicycle paths and the public transportation, which is very developed, lets you go anywhere thanks to the U-Bahn and S-Bahn (equivalents of the subway and of the regional express train).
In this culturally buzzing city, you will find everything to satisfy every taste: big department stores, small international designer boutiques, markets that sell everything, international restaurants, art galleries, museums, parks, etc.
Our language school is located in the former west part of town, in the Schöneberg area, which is one of the most beautiful and colourful neighbourhood of the city. The area is very well served by the public transportation system, and the school is only 2 minutes on foot from the main subway and train lines along the main avenue. Schöneberg is located between the happening Kreuzberg and Wilmersdorf districts, more upper class and chic. With its stylish bars, coffee shops and restaurants, this quarter is perfect to go out. On the weekends, you will be able to visit the Winterfeldtmarkt market, which is without a doubt the most notorious market of all Berlin.
The school expands over two floors and has 22 large and sunlit classrooms. Some are equipped with televisions, projectors, VHS and DVD players, computers and interactive boards. The school also offers an internet café with 16 computers at the students’ disposal, a lounge with a library, a conference room as well as vending machines with drinks and snacks.
